My filmmaking journey began with a Digital 8 camcorder, capturing skateboarding clips with friends in my teenage years. That early obsession with images and storytelling quickly overtook any fleeting interest in a career in sport, and I set my sights firmly on a life behind the camera.

With a First-Class Honours degree in Media Studies and an award-winning practical dissertation, I built my foundations as a 1st AC in narrative and drama before stepping into a full-time role as a cameraman and editor in London. There, I honed my skills across commercial and branded content for major clients including Jaguar Land Rover, Nikon, Hyundai, and WRC Rally. The pace and diversity of projects shaped me into a highly adaptable, multi-skilled lighting cameraman and shooting director and equally confident in editing and colour grading.

I then moved back to my homeland of Wales and joined a broadcast television production company as a full time shooting director and editor. Here I became experienced in documentary filmmaking, factual entertainment and talent led programmes.

Since going freelance I have spent more time working across drama. Having worked across commercials and music videos has given me a deep understanding of lighting and visual language—skills that now feed directly into my work in drama. I also transfer this  knowledge of visual language into documentary, bringing cinematic visual storytelling to factual content. 

I have worked on several  multi award-winning series, bringing care and craft to difficult, often sensitive subject matter, without compromising on bold visual storytelling.

As an experienced editor, I bring a sharp sense of story and rhythm to the field, knowing instinctively what coverage is needed and how to shoot for the cut.

I have developed a reputation as a versatile Director of Photography and Shooting PD, combining editorial sensitivity with a strong visual eye across both drama and documentary.

I have filmed across the globe in some of the toughest environments—often dealing with complex, emotionally charged stories whilst bringing a  chilled and calm presence on set, making me a trusted collaborator on productions of all sizes and genres.
